NAIFA Pennsylvania offers a health insurance program to its members as a member benefit. This plan is available to groups of two or larger and to individual seniors. This association plan is underwritten by by Highmark Blue Shield for groups and Capital Blue Cross for seniors in the central PA 21 county area. Coverage is also offered through Preferred Carriers for areas outside the 21 count service area of Highmark and Capital Blue Cross. Those carriers are Aetna, Capital Blue Cross ( for non-seniors), and Health America / HealthAssurance Coventry Health Care Plans.
